About Me:
Vale National Certified Master Craftsman #10200

Hello, my name is Daniel Mcgehee. I have worked in the automotive restoration industry, on and off, for the last 20 years. I only took a few years off from repairing automobiles to fulfill a four year enlistment contract with the United States Marine Corps., and two years working as a Police Officer.
I began my career at a very young age aiding body technicians and painters in a collision repair facility. I eventually worked my way up to being a fulltime painter in a very large production shop. It was about 8 years ago that I became bored with refinishing automobiles and became interested in paintless dent repair. I quickly, like most personal achievements I attempt, became addicted to the process of repairing vehicles using PDR.
PDR holds my interest because of how primitive it is. Shaping metal with metal using only the strength in my body and a few very finely tuned skills. Such as; exceptional hand and eye coordination, muscle memory, and the understanding of how metal reacts to pressure. Every dent is different, therefore, every repair is different. That is what keeps me interested and ambitious in the PDR industry.
I primarily work the big hail storms, and have done so across most of the United States and Europe. From being a technician who's repairing the vehicles to managing technicians in large production shops, I have had the privilege of doing it all.

Thank you for reading about me. I hope that this has helped to explain what I do, and why I do it. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
